Give As You Earn (Payroll giving)
Payroll giving is a tax free way of giving regularly to
Alpha International. Your gift is taken directly from your
salary before the tax is calculated. Up until April 2004,
the Government will add an extra 10% to your gift, every time
you donate through payroll giving.
So if you give £10, Alpha International would receive
£11 which is your gift plus the Government incentive.
The cost to you would only be £7.80, and if you pay
a higher rate tax then it would be £6.
